1. Decorate a Gingerbread Man
This craft from Fun Learning For Kids is great for almost all ages! Use what you have around the house, cut out some gingerbread men/women from all the Amazon boxes that I know you’ve got lying around, and let those kids go to town decorating!
2. Paper Plate Gingerbread House
In my opinion, this paper plate craft from Glued to my Crafts is a much better alternative to building an actual gingerbread house. Less mess, less stress!
3. Invitation To Create: Christmas Ornament Station
This ornament creation station from What We Can Do With Paper and Glue is one of the least messy DIY ornament options that I’ve ever seen. No glue, and no clay!
4. Santa Searchers
We’ve all got some extra toilet paper rolls hanging around, right? Time to put them to good use with this Santa Searchers craft from Love Your Littles.
5. Christmas Light Suncatchers
These suncatchers from CBC Parents are ADORABLE, and don’t require many supplies. All you need is: contact paper, colored tissue paper, a black permanent marker, scissors and tape.
6. Beaded Snowflake Math & Fine Motor Activity
These beaded snowflakes from Early Learning Ideas would look great on your tree, or hanging in a window! And I know you’ve got some pipe cleaners and beads somewhere in your craft stash.
7. Easy Paper Chain Advent Calendar
This is a great alternative to a toy or candy advent calendar. This craft from Modge Podge Rocks requires minimal crafting skills, and is perfect for little hands. Will you make a snowman, or a reindeer? Maybe an elf?
8. Christmas Tree Thumbprint Art
I’ve got to throw in at least ONE paint related activity, and this thumbprint Christmas Tree from A Dab of Glue Will Do is the perfect choice.
9. Winter STEAM: Symmetrical Snowflakes
I’m a sucker for snowflakes, so here’s another snowflake related craft, this time from Green Craft Kids. All you need are some q-tips, scissors, glue and paper, and then your kids have to work to create a symmetrical snowflake.
10. Christmas Light Chalk Stencil Art
I love chalk crafts, because the mess is so easy to clean-up afterwards. These Christmas Light Chalk Stencils from Buggy and Buddy are great for all ages!
